cucumber-radish

Greetings Squad! I have been home from the sun and warmth of Mexico for a week now and I am missing it so much! This winter feels remarkably colder than I remember experiencing during most winters. We could all use a little sunshine I suspect so today I’d like to share one of my favorite takeaways from Mexico, Tajin! It is the most delightful spice you can sprinkle on fruits and vegetables and most likely just about anything. It’s got three simple ingredients–chili peppers, sea salt and dehydrated lime juice. Every time I go to Mexico I am served the freshest fruit with this lovely treat sprinkled on top. I brought some home a couple of years ago not knowing if there was any available in the states let alone in my own neighborhood. Then, much to my delight, I discovered it at Costco!! Let the heavens open for a moment of silence….God bless Costco! Seriously, you all have to try this. Cut up some yummy cucumber, radish, mango, pineapple, oranges–you name it! Sprinkle a little Tajin on top and dive in! I’m not a big fruit eater, I know that’s a little embarrassing to admit, BUT with Tajin on top I love it! Tajin gives just the perfect amount of kick to your fruits and veggies that keeps you coming back for more!

There you have it! My favorite this week to share with you all. Tajin at Costco today! And of course while you’re at Costco pick up some fruits and veggies. I do love the selection they have. I know that my Costco right now has beautiful pineapple and English cucumbers. I think I’ll pick some up soon since I’ve got plenty of Tajin on hand! Hey, if you’re going to any parties this weekend bring some fresh fruit and an extra bottle of Tajin to share! Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend!!
